Fall Break

Fall break is here! It may only be a glorified four-day weekend, but it's still a nice break. Whenever I get an extended break from school the first thing I want to do is crochet. I guess it's the way I can best relax.

The other day I found this scarf pattern on Etsy:

I was so inspired that I had to make one similar (I was cheap, so I didn't buy the pattern). Mine is certainly very different, but I'm ok with that. I like to give certain patterns my own twist...plus I don't know many crochet stitches, and since I'm too cheap to buy the pattern, I had to simplify it.

Now I need to make more! During the next break, anyway.
